Default A little worried (Winter talk)

Running some Yokohama Avid H4s for right now..
On STOCKERS! and removal of the front lip(s).
Yes guys, that is my winter mode! Ugly, but get's the job done!

Just woke up and getting ready for the 4 hour (round trip) commute to the fiancee's house in Wisconsin to get ready for her sister's baby shower..

I wonder how much snow and ice will be on the roads. Hopefully must of it will have already been pushed to the side, since usually they plow those interstates and busy highways first.
Oh boy...

Ahh wish me luck guys, I heard yesterday morning/afternoon a few cars piled up on I-55?

I'm going to drive nice and slow..

Just take it easy, are you on all season or snow tires? I am not in tine with the Yokohama line up. your car should be decent in the snow? is it not??

My car was awesome in the snow yesterday! Snow tires + RWD = FTW

Just watch out for the slush that gathers in b/w the lanes, I saw many cars loose control while attempting to change lanes.

I have Blizzaks on my GS430 and so far they have been amazing! I have seen Durangos and even a Jeep Grand Cherokee have trouble in some spots, all the while I was passing them by in a RWD car.

Jeff,

If you have traction probs, I can set you up with some buddies at Discount Tire in BB next to Buffalo Wild Wings. Tires basically make all the difference second to safe driving.

Glad to hear you made it back safe, so how did the tires perform?

Actually the Yokohama's performed excellent, I forgot at one point it was snowing!
I didn't even realize I was passing by people on the highway going 70 while everyone chugged at 40-50 ..

Didn't mean to but they handled superbly.
