Dode Viper in da house, Elise in in trouble now!
This Viper is going to rip the doors off my Elise!
Wife was walking through a Walmart and saw this Dodge Viper on clearance - they had one on display and 2 new in boxes. She tells me about it and I manage to make it out to the store just before they closed that night. I grabbed the box dated Sep. of this year, the other was from last year.
got it for $125, yep, they must want to just get it out the door. MSRP is $295.

Minor assembly, charged the battery. Everything looks great.
RWD - 2 electric motors, accelerator pedal, 2 forward speeds (2.5 mph, adult lockout for the top speed of 5mph) and one reverse
dash lights (LED blue)
2 kids can ride at once, 130 pound limit
runs 2 hours with one charge (1 kid, flat surface)
Working radio with mp3 jack
horn and sound effects button
(ignition sounds, sounds of car's engine fly-by sounds and shifting sounds)
High traction tires
i'm living vicariously through my little ones!
fresh out of the box:
assembling, this is the fun part!:

I love those battery powered kid cars. You should throw some led's into a the headlights with a little drilled out action into the housing. Excellent post!!! These big toys make me want to have kids.

haha! I think us all being car guys wanted one of these babies no?
I wish I can fit my **** in it so i can drive the damn thing! lol! You can see the shifter in pic #3, shift it downwards and it clicks into 1st forward gear, there is a remove-able screw that limits it at this first gear. Take that out and then you have 2 forward gears.
What i didn't know it would do is that when you turn the ignition on the car makes a cranking start engine sound and then makes an engine idling sound while the dash is lit up - this way you know its ready to roll with the press of the accelerator pedal. After 10 minutes if no input it will shut off. Simpy turn ignition off and back on to reactivate. Man I wish I had this EV when I was a kid.

goelise, man that's a clean VIPER...doesn't it just amaze you how much Power Wheels evolved from when we were little. I mean look, it was the Ford 150 truck, or either a John Deere...lol, now we have Cadillacs, Hummers, Vipers and my favorite-the SC. I'm looking at getting a SC for lil man. Like MS EMERALD has...

haha, when i took the Viper out of its box it was pretty funny to see both of them side by side! I thought the same thing to myself - boy they both look like toys!
Here's a video:
tell me about it! I mean - there's more to the Viper car than what i showed in the video above, I didn't show the working radio, mp3 plug or the battery indicator or the 2nd forward speed. Kids are very lucky nowadays!
