Your parents are giving you a couch and dresser. Catch is, you have to move it this weekend from Glen Ellyn to Elmhurst. Somehow, nobody you know owns a pickup or trailer and you hate the idea of renting a trailer at Uhaul. How do you accomplish this task without spending too much cash?

Home Depot truck is like $20/hr...I used it to pick up some patio furniture once....I was haughling a$$ to get it back within the hour...

The answer to the puzzle:

Suck it up and rent a trailer at Uhaul. $20 for the day (plus another $16 for the round to rectangular wiring adapter).

I was surprised at how well the SC towed the trailer. Felt like nothing was back there.

 

Ok... so the SC didn't do the towing... I have a 4runner for the winter months...
