This breaks my heart to post this, but in the wake of a tragedy, we can all learn from this. The below story is very sad and an all to not uncommon family pet attacking a child. This was a friend I use to work with in Oak Brook several years ago. I was just told about this and had to post.

Wow, thats sad man.

There are a few dogs I will not go near no matter how much the owner says they have perfect demeanor.

omg thats sooo sad... makes me think twice about my sister's akita...
i never trusted it but now with a 4month old a 4 year old a 7 year old and 8 year old who drive the dog crazy im really thinking twice about that dog...

can never go bad with a german shephard though
