Default Kalamazoo Cars & Coffee

Not quite Chicago, I know, be easy on me, haha
(It's only like 2.5 hours from Chi)
Just thought I would give a heads up, KC&C is coming up Sat. April 25th.
https://www.clublexus.com/forums/gre...pril-25th.html

I was hoping to get more participation on the Lexus front but if you know of anyone (even Acuras and Evos ), spread the word!

Wanted to compliment you on your silver mesh wheels. makes your GS look great with the drop. My buddy Gytas with the 3gen GS AWD (dropped) liked your car as well.

He had very nice things to say about your car. I myself was impressed with your excellent wax job, no swirl marks on black (lol)!!! Hope to see you and your brother this summer at meet-ups as the weather breaks.

Yeah I wish I lived close so I could hang out more often, I had a blast.

I'm my worst critic when it comes to my car. I don't think I have ever been able to get it detailed how I want it. Black (and old) paint shows EVERYThing.
I found a good brand of wax, Nano wax paste with carnauba and then a finish with a spray wax, this seems to minimize hazing.

I remember you talking about Nano!!! I will look into that. I am a Diehard Zymol guy currently. Always looking for better stuff.

I get alot of good advice from my bro, but I can't afford the extensive products he uses. I swear he must be sponsored by Zaino haha

You should post pics up close in the car care thread. I am sure you will benefit a ton of members buy suggesting products that work well for dark paints. My car has become swirl heaven and I need to buff it out this weekend.

I think I'm done with compound as I don't think I have much clear coat left!
I'll prolly just stick to clay bar and waxes from now on.

Ok, here is what you poor bastards missed, haha. Germany kicked Japan's butt by a long shot, haha. Some Subarus and lancers did show up though.
Awesome day, little rain around lunch time drove us inside Bilbo's to have pizza and beer, cleared up quick and more ppl showed up in the afternoon.
BTW, this is going to be a monthly thing so stay tuned.
