Wheel Leaking Air
Well, if it isn't one thing, it's another...............
I have a small air leak in one of my wheels. I took it to Discount Tire assuming it was a tire leak, and in fact it is my wheel leaking the air as they showed me exactly where it was happening. Not an expert in this field, but it appears a small area of pitting is allowing air to escape. The wheels are chrome and are no longer available for me to purchase a replacement.
Anybody know of place where I can get this fixed? The picture below isn't the best, but I am pointing to the location to where the leak is happening to give you an idea. Thanks in advance for anyone who can chime in......

I know it can be fixed...my Mom had the same problem one time. I would try Wheels America (www.fixrim.com); they are local

Sorry to hear. You can use Wheels America or find out who your Local dealer uses. I haven't had to use any of these places but I have heard good things about Wheels America. Hope it all works out.
Did they fix it for now or did you have to put the OEM's back on? I wonder if you put a rubber patch on the rim if that would hold up or not? If they can patch the inside of the tire and the heat and rotation doesn't cause failure I would think the same with that. Just have to re-balance.
Time to drive up and have Gytis shave those rear panels Maybe he knows a place since he works at a body shop??

Guys-
Thanks for the help. I have received a message from Dr. Gytis and he is going to fix me up, along with some rubbing issues I have been having. I will let everyone know how things turn out!
