Rubbing Issues Fixed - Thanks Gytis!
Same ole story, just a different day! Had some major rubbing issues on my 2008 GS350 AWD - 20" x 8.5" / +42 offset................
.........Gytis stepped in and took care of the rest. If anyone is on the fence about getting their rears shaved and want it done right - - Gytis is your man! I was rubbing badly in the back - - rears shaved - - now zero rubbing. Rubbing in the front while going over major bumps/dips -- fronts shaved -- now zero rubbing. Fronts rubbing when turning extreme right or left - - plastic molding heated and re-shaped - -vast improvement, still some slight rubbing (see note on oversized tires).
Oh, and he fixed my rim that was leaking air! (atleast up until this moment as the tire has not lost any air since fixing)
Thanks again Gytis, you are a great guy and a true professional!!!! Here are some pics of the work in action:

^ just do it He will take good care of you
Brian I am glad it all worked out. I saw Gytis today and he said you drove back with no rub issues!! I think I am rubbing a little in the fonts but nothing major. Looks like Dr Gytis will be doing some more work on my car. Paint work that is

where do you to get this done Call them and ask if they will roll the panels on a newer Lexus. I am not a Mechanic here but I can say many if not most hung up on me when I told them I had an IS350. I know I am not the only member in Chicago to experience this.
Do you take a risk doing either one? Of course anything can go wrong if you roll or shave. Shaving you have less chanced due to the process Lexus uses through MFG. Many on here have had the whole fender shaved off and had no structural problems.
Everyone on the boards told me to NOT roll the fenders on the IS and I didnt listen and found out the hard way. I do not suggest anyone to roll the fenders on a newer Lexus. Older ones yes it can be done and shops will do it.
I personally feel much more confident know mine was done by someone that does body work for a living and not some performance shop that says they have the tool and will do it.
Only speaking from experience.

You know what then, you keep on rolling your fenders and ill keep on shaving them. How about That. Since your is300 is older the inner and outer fender setup is totally different from the newer lexus cars. The new outer quarters are glued with the inner panels where as the older cars were spot welded, so when you roll the new lexus quarters you're destroying the glue and your quarter from your inner panel could easily seperate which causes moisture to get it between panels that means RUST.So to keep a newer car structualy intact shaving is better than rolling.
