i need a place that does Alignments in chicago on lowered cars anyone know a place that isnt too pricey and does a good job. One more question if i had the alignment done at a specific height if i lower it for lets say one day and put it back at the height i had it will it mess up my alignment again because i dont have 300 bux to dish out on tires again

I dont know any shops but I am sure you will never get your car to the exact position. But I wouldnt think it you are close that its going to be anything huge for wear. Is there any places that sell lifetime packages close to you? That might be the better way to go if you plan to lower and raise the car more frequently.

I would check with NTB, if I remember correctly they have a life-time plan for around $140-$180

anyone know of an alignment shop where they don't use a computer rack used by an idiot who only does what the computer tells them to do and actually aligns by their knowledge/experience/insight?

Thalmanns Alignment in Northbrook is decent. They have a pit so it's low car friendly. Hey deal with a lot of custom cars.Went there today. They couldn't do much since we can't adjust camber.

^ how much negative camber do you have? You should still be within tolerance after they adjust your toe.

Mine are around 2 degrees. Im not that slammed. Its getting raised for the winter and/or stored.

I had alot of toe out issue on my GS, was eating up tires to the cords within 4K miles. Went to Woodfield Lexus, what a joke, will never go there again!!!!!

Went to MG Elite, they spent 4 hours aligning my car and got it all fixed.
