I love how The tollway system had that grace period for unpaid tolls. I payed a few knowing I forgot to put the iPass in my car a few times. Three were listed for my plate. The image was my GS....I payed the three fines.

Today, I get a Notice of Toll Violation letter with three dates from when I owned my SC300...I sold that car over a year and a half ago.

What the hell took them so long, and why did the violations not come up when I had the plate run? Same plate for both cars.

My recent dealings with them...
I had a transponder from the NSX I sent back to them ~ 7 years ago??? I get a notice in the mail 3 mos back that I have an outstanding balance and I have 30 days to pay or they will throw me in collections?? I jumped online and both of our IPass shows there is cash so I call IPass and the guy says its old? He pulled it up and said I owe them .10$ your kidding me right They mailed me something for .10$ 7 years later (not a missed toll)....and the account was closed out. They couldn't take from my positive accounts and said I had to go to the IPass office at 355/56. So since I had to go out of my way to pay this I went in with my Credit Card to pay off the .10$ and close out my account The lady fought with me and said I couldn't pay for it with my CC. I told her to close out my account and write a note she refused my payment She got up and went and processed my card and it actually went through

wonder if it was worth the $$ they spent in the long run??

 

I have heard about this delay from others as well. It is ridiculous, but they typically want some form of payment and you are done with the bs from IPAS>

 

It's the economy they need all the money they can get right now

 

I missed a few tolls before, had no change and there was no attendant on duty. Just went and payed the MAX toll of $2.00 I better not get anything bogus like that in the mail!
