So was wondering how many of you still get pulled over because of your sexy tints?
I was pulled over on Friday because i have 50% tints in the front and apparently that's illegal "Everywhere in Illinois, you can only have tints in the back!"
Oh and apparently "any type of modification to your exhaust in Illinois is ILLEGAL!" even if you still passed emissions. The cop "did not receive his bulletin on HB3325"
He never gave me a ticket, just stormed off all angry, he was hating

I was just pulled over in Glenview last night for my window tint. I told him that 35% is now legal and it passed last month. He said that it wasn't official law yet, but after he came back from his car he let me go. Not even a warning - pretty sweet!

as long as it's legal in IN, and you're just visiting, your car doesn't have to comply with the laws in any other states.

I have a great buddy who is a Romeoville cop and he told me that some officers have to call in if a law changed after January or June 1st. This is typically when laws change. Since the tint law changed in October, this is the problem with municipal police. I also asked why the law changed and it is a green movement with the mindset that less uv rays in a car, less a/c use, less emissions. I like their thinking (lol).

most of cops out there still don't know that. What happened to my friend last week was a ticket for $250 on monday, and another $250 ticket on friday - both for tints..
