lol you guys...I had to ask some of my friends who graduated there before me...I guess the Jungle was closed in the mid/late 90's. And yup, off of Annie Glidden/7-11 right by greek row. I guess it used to be a main fraternity/sorority bar. I could've sworn they opened again while I was there for a foam party and then shut down again afterwards...

Makes sense I graduated in 95' partied with a bunch of friends that went to NIU and remember getting thrown out of that place. If my drunken memory is correct. There was a liquor store next to it. That had another door into bar...So I went back in under the radar and got even more drunk.
Next night we were at a bar call "Dan and Andy's"? I think. That place was a hole in the earth. Lots of good drunken times at NIU. Farm chicks from Iowa at NIU were either complete prudes that wanted a ring, or complete **** star like sloots! It was great.

Andy's...that's in downtown DeKalb on Lincoln Hwy right? Only been in there a couple of times. We mostly went to Molly's or Starbusters when I was there. Now we just go to Fatty's after/during homecoming

Wow, what a trip down memory lane. I lived on Greek Row when I went to NIU. 1997-1999 I think. The Jungle would open for business, then get closed for serving minors. Then open again a few weeks later. It happened like twice a semester. Been there done that.
