I work for Sprint up in the Northshore area of Chicago, specifically Niles Illinois. We launched our new EVO 4g phone yesterday and I gotta tell you, what a LONG DIFFICULT DAY for Sprint employees. We sold out, systems across the whole nation froze due to the high sales. Worked from 7a to 9pm straight.
I can't wait to get one myself, employee availability is going to be released in late July until demand dies down for customers.
So, if any of you are interested in getting one please let me know as I can try and help you find one. If you're a new customer I can also help you on monthly price and even ship the phone directly to your doorstep.
Have you not heard of the EVO phone yet? Visit Sprint.com/EVO
Android 2.1 Operating System
Fastest processer you can get in a phone, 1ghz.
comes with 8gb MicroSD Card, expandable to 32gb.
4.3in 800 line resolution screen, simply amazing.
8megapixel camera with 2 flashes, 720 HD recording capability, 1.3front facing camera for LIVE CONFERENCING
HDMI output to your HDTV
Oh yea, it's the FIRST 4G PHONE TO HIT THE US.
Awesomeness.

This is where I work at =) The Sprint store next to Vitamin Shoppe.
Sprint and Verizon are CDMA networks. They are not compatible with SIM cards or GSM networks.
However, since this is a dual network device (3g voice and 3g/4g data) you can simultaneously use both data and voice when using 4g data and 3g voice.

I work at the Chase down the street from you. I've got the Pre, but I'm trying to sell the EVO to my coworkers. They're due for an upgrade. We might swing by next week.

Right now demand has far exceeded inventory. I've been trying to get Mike an Evo since last week and haven't received a single shipment yet. *supposed* to get some tomorrow.
If any ClubLexus people need one I will do my very best to get you, I have people on my waiting list now that may not get one for 2-3 weeks minimum.

When you sign the 2yr contract you are given $150 off any phone's retail price. Most phones have additional savings + mail in rebates.
The EVO is $300-100MIR=$200.
If you're new to sprint you must sign a 2yr contract. If you are a current customer, you can either buy it retail price with no contract or buy with a 2yr and receive a discount on your hardware.
