So I really have nothing but great things to say about Arlington Lexus of Palatine. I have experience with both Arlington Lexus and Woodfield Lexus and they are worlds apart. Woodfield Lexus has a great facility with plenty of drive up room in their service depatrment but their service just plain sucks. So much so that i'll never go back. I had all my warranty work done their on my 2006 IS350 and I had nothing but headaches from them as they always questioned why I never got oil changes from them and gave me a hard time each time I came in. Their service advisors are the most rude and ignorant sob's i've ever come in contact with. Arlington Lexus on the other has a much smaller facility, especially for service but they are so polite and don't ask any questions if it's something that should be warrantied. I will only be bringing my new 2008 IS350 to them moving forward. So far with my new IS350 they have done the valve spring recall, low dusk brake pad tsb, replacement of cargo net as it snapped, replacement of my rear center console, and replaced two of my rims due to paint defects. We had an issue with them ordering my cargo net as they incorrectly placed the order twice but the final time they didn't want to waste my time coming out there so they overnighted it to me via UPS. I thought i'd let everyone know that they are definitely the place to go and a great dealership to work with. Oh not to mention that there is a very noticable difference in the price of parts from Woodfield lexus to Arlington lexus. Woodfield lexus jacks up the prices of all of their parts by about 25%, definitely not worth it if you want to buy locally.

 

There is no better place then McGrath Lexus

 

Woodfield Lexus is the best for service. ;-) They've been servicing my cars for years and I've never had a problem. Arlington Lexus is closer but I'll continue to go to Woodfield!

Personally I feel Woodfield Lexus is a joke. I don't have experience with McGrath because I don't live in that area. Woodfield Lexus has a great service department but because of their poor attitude I will never be back. My local Toyota dealership has better customer service and that's just sad.
