Anyone miss driving a manual trans vehicle?
Does anyone else miss driving a manual trans car? Are you happy with the changes moving more cars to automatic, paddle shifters, ect? I think no matter what they do to improve the automatic trans in today's cars it will never replace the driving experience one gets from connecting with the car.

The ISF paddle shift was fun b/c it was so easy but it got boring. Although, I did just build and put a deposit down for a 2011 car (not going to tell you now!) which is a manual 6 speed. So I'll be DD'ing it for hopefully a long, long time.

maybe a computer actuated clutch instead of a torque converter would do the trick...? Using the electronic clutch pedal would be optional. It will retract when not in manual mode.

Dam, I Love driving a Manual transmission and refused to get a Automatic lexus... Thus i searched for months to find a is250 6speed Manual 2 hours away and drove there.... bought it the very same day with a 3year/100k Mile warranty and i was very happy :]
