Default 02 GS300 SD traded, bye bye, see ya....

Traded it in for those who don't know already. Got me a GS450h now.

My 2002 GS300 with 115k on it. Lowered (eibach's) and still running strong as hell.

This should be picked up by a local someone! Maybe for a kid, or as a spare project car.
Not much needs to be done add 35% tint back to the front windows. (Coppers made me peal it before law changed) Maybe see Pavel (5SP_JZZ30) and get the timing belt done (I put it off) for cheap. I love this car and want to see someone do something with it. 2JZ swap, VIP, etc...

How it use to look when I had it.

16 incher OEMs are on it now.

Nice GS Matt. Post pics of the new one. Too bad I never got to see your 97 5spd SC.

We NEED a meet this year like the good old days. Not a mixed meet with Honda and Nissan, but a real Lexus meet.

Will do...

The 97' was never suppose to be sold to me. It was a buddy's nasty divorce which brought that whole thing about. At the time I had the money and he needed it to buy out his house, but then I needed the money after buying it. So I flipped it pretty quick. New owner is still sitting on it. Its up in Lake Geneva right now. He's been talking about selling, but who knows. Supposedly he was going to stuff a VVTi 2JZ-GTE in it.

Agreed, I'm thinking maybe doing something like a BBQ this summer. Get the Chicago people together, maybe make Cameron come down from Milwaukee and whip up some ribs.

Nice 3GS Matt! Those are sweet. Maybe we can do a shoot with my 2GS when we see nicer weather!

hows the mpg compared to gs300? the GS450h keeps on looking like a better option with gas prices going up.

LOL...the GS300 would maybe get 19mpg with me being civilized driving...23hwy again not doing I90 speeds.

So far I've hit 31mpg Hwy...and 25mpg city. Pushing the the car into 100+mph range...send the mpg's into low 19-18 range. So far...only been playing with it for a week.

So far I have dusted a 330ci. Annoyed the hell out of a Lancer Ralliart (wouldn't let him pass me). 550 stayed with me, but couldn't pass.

Pontiac G8 GXP....Kicked mah ***! Dude was gone... I think that car can crack a 13.0 flat 1/4 mile run all day long. And this one had something extra.

I did not realize that the 2JZ is that thirsty.

Oh my.... the 2JZ is horrible for fuel economy. What's even worse is that it's got no power to back up that thirst. I guess manual cars are better then the lazy autos, but it's still pretty bad.

What is the top speed you had this thing up to thus far? And how does it perform past 100 mph?

I saw the limiter. 130, It pulled there like a train.

Here's a Canadian car with no limiter. 100km is 62mph, 260km is 160mph

Nice pick up!

I'd be down for an all Lexus meet. Just need some head notice
