I went to McGrath Lexus on Division. They were going to charge me $59 to do it. Long story short, I ended up getting it done for free since the technician thought it wasn't possible but luckily, I printed directions I saw on here to prove it to them.

Yeah i called McGrath too, first they said they're not sure if it's possible, and when i mentioned i'd bring instructions, they said they won't do it at all. But since it would be around $60 i might as well throw in another $40 and buy the cable/w Techstream.

Techstream is only $100!? I don't know, they didn't want to do it for me either but I was like I knew someone who had it done here and recommended me to come here and then the adviser sort of felt obligated to do it.

Mine were done at the dealership. Actually I had the dealership do a ton of crap like that. Seat belt buzzer off, DRL's off, etc...

I have a GS though.

Yeah i find if you know your service adviser well enough, they will take care of it for you for no charge.

If a SA is giving you the run around, screw that guy. Get up, walk out. Leave him sitting there with the stupid (I just got caught blowing the dog) look on his face. Walk into the Service Managers office. And just say this...
