I had Velazquez Mufflers and Brakes on Belmont and around California delete my resonators and secondary cats. $30 each to remove and weld on pipes. They are good, not the best welding or quality but still good work. I plan to bring my car back to them soon for a custom quad set-up for my IS350.

Straight pipes is the only way you will get sound, trust me as I have done it and tried just about everything possible with the ISx50 and 3rd gen GS
Some of you newer members I help locals on the side for free installing things. Springs, coilovers, hid fogs, navi hack, audio stuff, side mirror turn signals, ect.
Now that's how a local "hooks" up another local
I was the first or one of the firsts on many mods to both of these cars and the one that tested the waters.

^ Doesn't void the warranty unless you get a problem that is caused by you putting on straight-pipes. Many people here have modified cars but still go for warranty work. I've brought my car in many times and McGrath Lexus doesn't bother me about my mods. But it is illegal to remove the resonators or modify parts of the exhaust but you won't get caught since they don't do visual inspections.
But don't worry, deleting the resonator is better than a midpipe, at least to me. I had the Invidia midpipe but I sold it since I needed cash and decided just to hack up the stock pipe and I'm much happier with it.
