my obd2 code readrer says no codes or codes stored, also no lights at all on dash. ill drive it a few more days and then see what happens at the next emissions test

It doesn't matter that your CEL isn't on. Give it a few more miles, a few more heat cycles.....it'll be fine.

If you have a straight pipe with an O2 sensor directly in the exhaust flow that's seeing too much heat, you'd have gotten a CEL a bit ago. If you don't have it spaced out using a splarkplug spacer, do it....the carbon build up on the O2 will kill the sensor sooner than later. Those sensors are expensives.
Dido - you need 50 - 300 miles on the car for the OBD system to have run all of its checks.

Interesting shouldn't it just do a test and confirm back that its working? Must say I am shocked it would take that long for such a smart car to confirm if there is any issues. Doesn't there have to be something pending in the ECU for them to read info? I thought they pull codes and nothing more so if no pending codes or codes period you pass??

ok, i redid the emissions test and passed! i guess i just needed a few learn cycles.
