Default Any local dealers that can handle low...

So my car is a tad low and I'd like to know if anyone has experience with dealers and lowered cars. I need a dealer that extremely careful and a place that has lifts i can clear. Any idea?

Pic for reference:

I didn't have any issues with McGrath in Westmont. If you do go in ask for Dean and your welcome to tell him I sent you.

Any dealer should be able to assist you its just making sure you trust them and they know what needs to happen. Most techs, in my experience, could give a crap and will just pull your car in and treat it like any other car they work on.

If your not far from WI we know a service writer and tech that both will treat your car as you would want. This would be your best option if your up for the drive

Jason's car looks nice

Yeah, I don't really trust McGrath Chicago to work on it anymore and not to mention the angle getting into their lot is ridiculous! My car will not clear most lifts, so that's my biggest concern.

Didn't know you knew Jason, but the car looks beat now. Should be sick next year though.

Also, I'm a big fan of your signature! Too many knock offs these days.

yea Chicago won't work, other dealers they just need to have a few pieces of wood to drive up on then your golden. Dean I know will make sure your taken care of and one of the techs has a s/c IS350 (forget his name). The guys in WI are both members and will have the same respect you do for your car.

I hate taking my cars to the dealer lol, what did you need done?

Try Woodfield Lexus and tell Ed Vale that you're a CL member, he'll treat you good and give you a discount.

Yes it just boils down to being lowered friendly...

OP I would get the parts from our vendor Sewell and DIY. Its all easy stuff to do your self and save the BS from a dealer. I could help you the weekend of December 8th if you wanted to drive out to me.

I wouldn't promise a discount. But Ed does know lowered cars. He'll tell you right away if they can lift it or not. I'm sure they can do it. I could have swore I saw slammed LS430 on the lift one day.

2nd for Woodfield Lexus.

If you feel like making the trip.

North Shore Lexus in Milwaukee is right off the highway. They have a SA that knows lowered stuff.
Ask for Dmitry. Let him know you're on CL.
When you see the door to the waiting room... you will feel right at home.

You probably don't want to go to McGrath on Division. I work across the street at Acura and bought in my car to have the water pump replaced at Lexus. When I was walking across the street to work after dropping off my car, I can hear them revving the crap out of my car even across the street. They probably thought my quad exhaust looked and sounded cool. Either way like someone mentioned, the techs could care less about your car. But your car should fit fine on their lifts. I'm lowered 1.5 inches and there's about another 1.5 to 2 inches of room for the lift to jack up my car.

If you do go to McGrath Lexus on Division, ask for the service adviser named Robert. He's my adviser whenever I need something done and he's into modded cars. Also ask him to recommend the tech named Stan. He's really careful with cars and had helped me so much on my IS ever since I started working at Acura.
