Window Tint
Hey everyone!
Is there any window tint place in the Chicagoland area that is worth anything? I am moving to Texas within the next year, and I heard that the south was the best place to get tinting done, but I don't want to wait that long.
Let me know! Thanks
p.s. This has been the worst winter I have experienced in my last 12 years in this state....maybe it's just because it's the first one I have owned an SC

I had Ziebart in Naperville tint my LS400 with good results. You may wish to check the laws in Texas regarding tint first. You may want a darker tint there than what is legal in IL, especially if you want all your windows the same. Do a Google search on "window tint laws". Ziebart will make you accept a disclaimer.

Wait till you get to Texas.
First of all, It would be much cheaper and quicker to have it done there.
Second, you can go as dark as you want (generally) on tinting front windows in Texas.
If you tint the front windows too dark( less than 55%) in Illinois, the COPS gonna be on your back, because legally YOU CAN"T HAVE ANY TINT ON WINDOWS ALONGSIDE OR INFRONT OF THE DRIVER.
I don't know the tint laws in Texas, but I can tell you that my cousins in Houston have limo tint all round on all thier cars and have never had any problems. Many, many cars in Texas have dark tints, so you'd blend in. Try that in Chicago (particularly the North Shore, where I live) and you're finished.
BTW, I had my windows tinted at AB AUTOMOTIVE in CHICAGO. Great service, friendly people, and top quality materials. I had all 6 windows done, (including front windshield, front side windows, rear side windows, and rear windshield) for $250.
