Dude, that's as the crow flies. It's a lot farther the way he Lex drives! I thought about doing this the last time they did this but it would have meant taking friday off driving most of the day, taking part on Saturday and then spending most of Sunday driving back. Not un-doable but not prefereable.

Still if I could convince the wife... I'd do it.

Ditto but minus the wife part. My girlfriend doesn't control me enough to ban me from this trip. No, really!

Hey ya'll, I understand it's some driving. That is why we are working hard to ensure it's gonna be worth it. Is there anything in particular that would entice you people more?

Honestly, the Dragon is such a serious road, after 1 day I had a headache. It is that crucial concentration wise. It is incredible, the views and the area.

Also, we mixed in some highway driving, we topped out about 120mph there. The Dragon, you may not go over 40mph.

damn, the only reason i wouldn't want to take my GS is that i just got it repainted last year and i know how a road trip beats up your car....... them highways are full o' bugs, and there isn't a bra for a GS300 with a veilside front end .......i'd have to take the LS which i don't think would be that much fun to drive

I'm game...
In January I did a run from Chicago to South Carolina and back in 24 hours. And that was in a slower car...so this should be fun in a Lexus.

If you want one, i can have my clear bra guy custom make one for you. My clear bra guy is doing one for me. It's big $$$$ tho.
I'm paying about $450.00 for my bumper (not a GS)

For sure Ray, as soon as i get some surplus funds i'll make sure and give you a call. but in the mean time can you please see what he would charge to put it on my 95 GS300......and of course i have the veilside front end. thanks. oh, and did you guys ever find out if the fogs that come with the veilside kit have the little screw cover? mine looks horrible without it
