Here's more info for next weekend:

Sat, Aug 2nd - Speedo party:

Starts at 1pm & goes til we can't stand up

Will have a pool, volleyball, grill, music, spirits, a private acre to park your rides & feel free to bring your favorite drinks - anything goes.

We'll have burgers/dogs/buns/condiments/plasticware, etc. If you guys could bring some chips, beer, sodas, drinks & any extra food, that would be awesome.

Here's the directions:

-Hwy 20 (Lake St) west to Randall Road, take a left
-Go over hwy 20 & take your 1st right - Foothill Rd
-Take your 1st left, before the curve, on Brookside Dr
-Take a rt at the 'Y' on Knollwood
-Left on Westgate, which curves right and becomes Country Knoll Lane. 2270 Country Knoll Lane is on your left.

Sun, Aug 3rd - Track day at Byron Dragway

The early risers will be leaving Dude's parking lot at 07:30ish & runnin a convoy to the track. Directions to our shop are on our website:

If you want to meet at the track instead, Byron is near Rockford & they open at 9:00. Suggest you get there before 10, so you can get a 3 or 4 quick runs in. After 11 or so, the lines start to get pretty long.
We'll be meeting in the grassy parking lot (closest to the road) somewhere. You'll see a bunch of cars with Dude's Performance Shop stickers & my big bald head (need your help, JIMXO)....

Here are some directions off their website, but the quickest way is to take Rt 72 (Higgins Rd) all the way to the track:

From the North: I-90 to I-39 South - Exit on # 111. Enter Hwy. 72 West to Byron, IL. - (Approx. 13 miles) - through Davis Junction thru Stillman Valley - 4 miles to 4-way Stop Sign - Go Straight ahead 1 mile and Byron Dragway is located on your left hand side.

From the South: I-39 North to Exit # 111. Enter hwy. 72 West to Byron, IL. - (Approx. 13 miles) - through Davis Junction thru Stillman Valley - 4 miles to 4-way Stop Sign - Go Straight ahead 1 mile and Byron Dragway is located on your left hand side.

From the East: I-90 West - Last toll by Chrysler Plant in Belvidere Exit on to Hwy. 20 Freeport - 4th Exit is Hwy. 2 Dixon - 11 miles to Byron - First stop light turn left - Cross Bridge - End of bridge there is a 4-way stop sign - Turn Right - One mile and Byron Dragway is on your left hand side.

From the West: Enter Byron on Hwy. 72 & 2 on South End of Byron - Go thru Byron turn right at 2nd stop light on Hwy. 72 - Cross Bridge - 4-way stop sign - Turn Right- One mile and Byron Dragway is located on the left hand side.
