Wines in the Wild - Anyone a wine snob?
For all your Wine enthusiasts out there and even for people who are interested in learning/exploring the world of Wines. Brookfield Zoo is having a Wines in the Wild outing again!
Maybe we can turn this into a CL meet over Wine/Cheese, Champagne, & Catering.....
After going to this event last year, I'm re-registered already! There was over 150 Wines, 50 Champagnes, and a full section of even Hard Alcohol!
It's going to be a business/formal outing, so jeans and t-shirts won't cut it...

Wine Tasting, Silent Auction, and Live Auction
Don’t miss out on this incredible fundraiser Sunday, November 2, 2003!
Included in this exciting wine tasting event will be a silent auction and live auction, featuring unique items and fantastic trips to private guest homes and vineyards. Our two guest vintners will be none other than Joel Aiken, of Beaulieu Vineyard and Bruno Borie of Chateau Ducru Beaucaillou. The tasting itself will be complimented by an array of hot and cold hors d’oeuvres, cheeses and patés. Our guaranteed splendid atmosphere and great entertainment are included, as well as zoo admission and parking. You even get to leave with a commemorative wineglass in hand!

i would love to go to this....
but...
definitely not a fan of wine...
wine and cheese... oh boy... better stay away from me...
i can just feel it brewing in my gut...
