Reminder: Dude's Performance Fest - Sunday, October 12th, 10AM-9PM
Dudes-
Just a reminder, the big event is live on Sunday, Oct 12th. Have had tons of response from the Lexus/Audit/Mercedes/BMW/Supra/Acura dudes, so it looks like we'll have a major turn-out of high end sport luxuries. A few of you have already called in for the Dyno - we still have slots open, but they are starting to fill. Give us a call to reserve...See ya there & bring your friends.
BTW, I've changed the Customer Appreciation Program - you can now earn hard cold CASH or STORE CREDIT for referring friends & family. When they spend 1st time $$, you receive 2% of their purchase in CASH or 5% in STORE CREDIT!!!!!! Not a bad deal for simply talking to your pals...
Here's the fest info again:
Where: Dude's Performance Shop - parking lot
36 N. Barrington Road
Streamwood, IL 60107
When: Sunday, October 12th, 2003
Dyno: 10AM - 9PM $70 for 2 pulls
Car Show: 11AM - 4PM
What: Plenty of Sport Luxurys - Lexus/BMW/Mercedes/Audi/Infinity/Acura, etc
Plenty of American Muscle, classics & hot rods - 1950's - 2003
Plenty of Sport Compacts
Even a Supercharged Italian Qvale Mangusta - only 208 ever made
Tunes: All Day
Grub: Hot dogs, burgers, mexican food & drink
Awards: Prizes and trophies for multiple Sport Luxury classes, including best club participation
Call us at Dude's for more info and to pre-register for the Dyno: 630-736-1356
This WILL be a great show.......

LOL! I still own the car. But every car is always for sale for the right price!
Read this for just one reason why I won't be hooking up to a mobile dyno. Besides if I did you'd find out my real secret... I'm only making 195 RWHP and like other Johnson legends the size was all really just talked up

Size doesn't matter - it's how you write with the pencil that counts....
I wouldn't worry about any cars sliding off the dyno - the one we're using doesn't have any moving parts. We put the car on a big trailer stand & a psychic stares at the engine bay with his finger up the tailpipe. Voila! Estimated HP & Torque & Air/Fuel ratio about 30 seconds later! LOL
...we could always have a friendly 1/8th mile showdown (NOS vs. Blower) in the parking lot!
Take care
