what?!?! u got a court date for a ground flower? the legal type that you can buy at Wal-Mart? im just gonna guess that the judge will ask you why you set it off so early(since its not New Years yet). i say just relax, truthfully state why you did it(to see what you bought) and hopefully they wont be so harsh on you.

umm, i was talking to my dad... the "young *unk" got busted for lighting aerials... my dad said, make up an excuse... sorta kinda what ehjay said... you wanted to see if the fireworks was too dangerous for your kids or something? if not, you was going to buy more...

big mistake for asking my dad, what's the worst that could happen... i forgot that he's on the other side!

last year, my friend got cited for popping kiddie fireworks at 3am on new years day... he went to court and told the judge that he bought too much fireworks for his kids, so... he burnt the paperless stuff and soaked whatever fountains in water... my friend walked out paying a $50 court fee and that's it...

well, good luck... i'd be scared too! my dad made me learn the hard way...
