Hey Todd I'll try to find out and I'll post up the 411.
Today I hung out at Revision for a little bit since I was off and had nothing to do. Got to see Samson new car looks good.

Ok so I talked to someone at Recon today and as far as they know no nothing new has been done about your safety check stickers that wasn't already known. So currently it is ok to mount it to a plate that is on the right hand side of the bumper. But as far as being mounted to a plate next to your license I think thats still up to your own discretion and if the place you get your safety from will put it there for you. The girl I talked to is the daughter of one of the sups here.

safety check stickers only can be mounted on the right side of the rear bumper. if you are using a plate to mount it, it should be mounted on the right side. any place else is illegal and you can be cited for it.

an officer said that they can give you a ticket for no saftey check if its mounted by your license plate frame...in other words if they don't see it on the right bumper area, then that means you don't have saftey check on your car and thats $150 fine.

I guess I'll have to drill 2 holes in my new kit to mount my safety then. Plus another 2 in the front for my fabricated license plate holder.

Being sarcastic then that officer needs glasses if he can't see it mounted right next to your license plate.

and to all the elderly people, please read the directions so i dont have to repeat myself every 15 seconds and get busted for "looking" at whom you voted for.![Thumb Down](https://www.clublexus.com/forums/images/smilies/thumbsdown.gif)
