im thinking you were either the guy pushing the ekg cart in the hall while i was in the elevator (i forget his name but we were in orientation together 2 years ago) or the guy in the office next to the lady in white coat (whom i dont remember her name cuz i been gone for 8 months until this past week). the guy at the desk turned and looked at me then went back to what he was doing.

i dont wanna use the office computer for stuff other than business, even thou it is a modern dual core system its still just a HP after all 
My puter is a older P4 478socket/agp vidcard BUT shes oc'd to 3.2ghz/1000mhz fsb with 2gigs of corsair xms low latency ram, a tuner puter

well since we're geeking out...im having problems with my hp laptop lately.
it appears that i have a display driver problem, even after going to the hp website and installing their driver updates i still get the same problems.
the problem: when watching a movie, the screen goes black and freezes. doesnt matter if it's a dvd or a movie on my hd. i have to unplug and remove the battery in order to reboot it. sometimes i can watch a whole movie, while other times it's happened within 15 minutes.

Canada... 1wk to 2wks... only good thing thou... i watched the new The Day the Earth Stood Still on my big screen tv last nite since all my dvd players are divx capable

ya it did. and dont go watch SEVEN POUNDS either, it's very long and very boring. i just watched it this morning (dvd copy downloaded ya baby).

i'm sitting in my car at ala moana beach park watching the hilton hawaiian village fireworks display.. i hope, the lights will go back on soon? people are driving like @$$holes!

Me too. Just got home about half hour ago at 8:30. If I didn't already have to go into work tomorrow at 6:45AM, I might seriously think about going to work right now since we have full generator back up power at my work at KITV. It sounds like power might be out for most of the night if not until tomorrow morning or later so looks like I'm in for a fun time at work tomorrow.
