new owner of 2008 is250 (help please)
w'sup guys. i recently bought a 2008 is250 and don't know what to get for aftermarket stuff. the crappy thing is that i got into a car accident. some idiot running away from the police in a stolen car sideswiped me about 2 weeks ago. in about a couple weeks i'll get my car back. i'm thinking of doing exhaust first. what's the best place to do it with labor, along with the exhaust system as well? what else should i do with it? thanks.

Welcome to the boards! Might want to check out the other sections to see what kinds of mods everyone else has and see how they like it. Another option would be to come to our weekly Starbucks meets or monthly Cars & Coffee events and check out some of our local members' rides.
Hope everything goes ok with your car!

Welcome to the CL man sorry to hear about your car. Like lexi girl said you've come to the right place. Peeps here are always willing to help in anyway they can. But yeah if you can you should come out to one of our meets so you can see others members rides to help you along with your mods.

thanks everyone for the welcome. yeah i called the body shop i went to (o'sung in kalihi) and said insurance checked the car twice with two different people to give it an ok. it's all good so he said the parts should be in by this week. peace and love.

personally i like hks because its name brand

sorry to hear about your accident. I personally like the GReddy exhaust because Ive had one before and I liked it. its good if you can order it online and install it yourself. simple bolt-ons like exhaust is easy if you have a garage and friends to help you. CLH peeps are good about helping out other members. but if you dont have the time or space to do it, then Eurosport or Revisions is the place to go.

Besides, CLH 2IS owners know a lot about their cars (from what I've heard and seen) and I don't think they'll mind sharing their knowledge as well as a little elbow grease
Even though I have a 1IS, I'd wanna hang out to learn and lend a hand... and maybe do a CLH DIY video
Anyway Welcome to CLH, I'm Jerry.
