I was at Ala Moana when the power went out. We were eating at Tsukiji, and the lights started to flicker early on. I told everyone we should hurry and eat as I believe the power was going to go out soon. Sure enough, about 45 minutes later when we had just exited the lights went out. Surprisingly it took us only about 1.5 hours to get home to Moanalua as near Ala Moana was real bad, but once we got only Ala Moana/Nimits it moved fairly well.
Right now I'm using my MacBook Pro and Hele. Full battery power comes in handy

Wow! Last night was pretty interesting. Traffic, dark streets, SOME people being an @$$ at intersections, and the only good thing was that I got to get off work early and spend more time with the family! Having no electricity didn't really bother me much since all I do is sit and relax when I get home from work.
It was funny how everyone screamed at the mall like we were being attacked by something. One person told me "OMG! I hope this isn't the day the Earth stood still?!" LoL!!! I seen people panicking and getting on their cell phones like it was the last day.
Power didn't get back at my house until about 12am - 1am this morning.
