hold up on all your modding plans for now, come out to a meet, like the one this sunday and check out all the rides first, talk to the guys, get some guidance (or misguidance ). We have cars from mild to wild to look at and get ideas from, there are better things to spend money on than 'painting rims' to get you started

NO~ dont buy those, trust me 17" rims, no matter how cheep, you do not want. 18" is the bare minimum and even then try to avoid it, go 19" or just keep the stockers till you can afford 19".
You do really have to come out and talk 'cars', doing it in person with modded cars to look at will put everything in perspective.
