Well here's the latest problem on Sunday we were driving in Mililani and all of a sudden we hear this loud rattling coming from the rear. So I thought it was my headliner, but my wife goes I think it's your rear windshield I'm like no it can't be that. So we get home and I decided to check it out and you know what she was right. Some how the top part of my glass popped out and now the rubber molding is underneath it so whenever I hit a bump it rattles. It's so annoying. Does anyone know where I can take it, to have it fixed. I got a quote from Ace already but the guy told me I'll also have to order new moldings they didn't want to use the old ones. I already ordered the moldings from Audi. Ace wants $174 to redo my rear windshield. I was thinking they would just pop the old molding reset the glass and boom it's all done. So I'm trying to price around to see what other places will charge. If you know of somewhere that you've used or have the hook ups can you let me know.
Thanks,
Thanks,

IMHO, $174 sounds like a fair price to me assuming it comes with workmanship warranty, ie if it leaks down the road. Or, you can have someone do it for you on the "side" but that's the risk you take.

I will never let Ace touch any of my vehicles again Kurt. Just from personal experience, My GMC they replaced the rear side glass, scraped the gaskets & caused rust. Then on our van, they replaced the windshield & knicked the metal, then denied the fact & now its rusted as well.
This was years ago, but nonetheless. I've used Leeward Auto Glass with good results on both Semi's & my Tacoma. They do good work have excellent quality glass, and are pretty flexible schedule wise. There's a few other places I've used, but their name escapes me now.
