i have an 08 is350 i just wanted to know if anybody on here experience a clanking/rattling sound for a couple of seconds when starting the car up after the sound goes away.and this sound comes by once in a while.

there's a service bulletin on the noise you mentioned. you can do the search. no time right now.

thanks for your help, but i hope the dealer can solve the problem and find the rattling noise if not im going to get rid of my lexus. and the sad thing is i only had this car for 8 months since i bought it new.

you need to check the TSBs for your ride.....and if its a problem....have servco do it all one time...should be free, right mardy?

thanks, i think i found one of the tsb for that rattling sound the number is tsb number is (eg019r-07 but it goes for (06-07 lexus is 350 only) my car is an 2008 i was wondering does it still apply to my car???
