Default Good Price on an 09 IS250?

Hey everyone, I know these types of threads go in the 2IS forums, but since we live in Hawaii, our situation is unique and we can't really go by the mainland prices.

So, my question is... is $32150 OTD, for a SGM IS250 Base, no options except wheel locks, including ceramic tint, a good price?

Really sucks how servco monopolizes it here.

Thanks

to save you cost, get you tint somewhere else, its way cheaper than what servco is offering you

i have to agree with VIPLXS. servco gets their tint done from T&T tinting. its so much cheaper if you just go straight to T&T and cut out the middle man. I didnt do that tho...stupid me...ended up paying $500 for the tint. as for the car itself, when i was looking for the base model IS250, i talked them down to 30k out the door. i didnt get it tho, i ended up getting the IS250 with the sport pack for 34k out the door. so yea, hope this helps. good luck bargaining !

blkis_250, when did you get that price and was it an auto? 30k is an amazing price, Servco didn't want to go below $32k OTD and offered tint for $32,150. I figured that I'd put ceramic tint anyways and it would run me ~$350 anyways. Thanks

i got an auto IS250 but since its an auto its supposed to be more expensive, i don't see why you shouldn't be able to get a manual IS for cheaper or at least 30k out the door. this was for an 09 around january i think...and i believe the invoice price for the IS250 is around 27k so just keep fighting and plus, keep in mind that the new '10 are coming out soon.

GSE20MT also taught me this really good way of getting a good price. just tell them "i want this car for X amount and ill buy it right now." it helps

I'm getting an auto, i was just thinking your 30k may have been for manual. Is ~$350 over invoice good? I calculated that OTD at invoice is $31,416.14, so how about $32000 OTD w/ ceramic tint (I called T&T and they quoted me $400 for the same thing)?

Also, anywhere to get illuminated sill plates in Hawaii? I looked at Sewell and shipping is $47

$350 over invoice is very good because that is still under msrp. which is around 32k if im not mistaken and since you are getting a tint with that price, i dont see why not.

and about those door sills...i have no clue..i would say sewell but my car came with them so i never had to worry about them. i would ask judd (llamaboiz) about those, he knows everything about lexus.

but yea, you can try to talk them down to 30k tho, but be prepared to haggle for a few hours. those guys are stubborn. but seeing as how you're willing to go for 32k anything lower will make it that much better for you. Good luck!

Thanks at least I know that $350 over invoice is a good price if they don't go lower. I'll shoot a PM to Judd as well.

Thanks for the help!
