Wow! That is an awesome flashlight! Its like, forget headlights......this thing is a hid headlight.

Hmmm.....this thread staying open is making me consider buying one.

my mini hid mag - 10 watt ballast... 6500k metal halide lamp, i think?

ooo, it's pretty! let me know, if you order one... maybe, dad will want one for father's day? $150 is cheaper than my mag conversion...

Ok, so here's an update. The day my wife went into labor (last Friday), I went to Young Guns and picked up 2 lights. Fenix TA30 (3-CR123A cell) and a Fenix PD20 (1-CR123A cell) and love both of them.

Besides being cheaper than the SureFire, they both have a Strobe mode that causes disorientation when shone on a person (who knows, might come in handy one day). The 1 cell came with a pouch and landyard, with replacement O-rings and end button. The 3-cell came with the same, less the pouch.

the only drawback was that the Fenix lights don't come with batteries (and they were sold out), whereas the SureFire ones do.

Now, I'm so hooked on these lights, I just ordered a Fenix TK11 r2, 240lumens, 2-CR123A cell lite.

Gotta unsubscribe from this thread...but then again, you can NEVER have too many lights (every room in the house, garage, car, office, etc LOL)
