Some peeps here got me looking at FLASHLIGHTS
After the last C&C, a bunch of us went to check out flashlights and now I'm looking to get one. Of course, I couldn't see spending $100+ on a little flashlight when a Mag-Lite can knock the lights out of someone. But when I walk the dogs at night and the street light goes out, I can't see where to pickup the dog poop. 
I hear SureFire is a very good brand, but I've also read that Fenix has been rated the Best Flashlights in 2009. Anyone got experience or feedback with these 2 brands?

Hahaha!!! I always though Mag-Lite was always one of the best.

Fenix has an LD20 model, 2AA batts, and 180lumens, only $60.If we're not having baby this weekend, I'll probably come by and take your offer (if I don't just go to young guns and pick one up
)Anyone got experience with Fenix?

never heard of Fenix.
i got a surefire that mounts on my rifle. i can get a bunch of surefire batteries for free if you end up gettin one. cant go wrong with government batteries.

Fenix LD90 - # General Mode: 9 lumens (71hrs) -> 47 lumens (13hrs) -> 94 lumens (5hrs) -> SOS
# Turbo Mode: 180 lumens (2hrs) -> Strobe
and i seriously doubt 2AA alkaline's can do 180 lumens for 2hrs *even in strobe mode*, thats gotta be lithium times...
The surefire p6l only has one setting, 80 lumens for 11hours and surefire p6 housings have tons of accessories.

yah todd, some peeps got me into looking at flashlites too...
i'm itchin' to get me a surefire flashlite soon. i need a super strong one to see
thru the bushes by the river at my house when my dog starts barkin'...

Talking about flashlights, haha.
My friend was into flashlights.
you could get a little but powerful clip on flashlight.
Mag-light works, its good and if someone trys anything. your prepared.

oh and thats one pretty kool looking flashlight. what is it?but, you guys are into some serious flashlights here. i jus get the cheap stuff at superbrightleds.com
