hmm so... what is there to get?

so far I have the JP neck rests and all the LED mods. + 2500k yellow foglights.

I'm planning on ordering:

fusa
kitsuna
jdm rain visors (should be getting them in about a weeks time)

I really want to drop my car as well but I'm not too sure of which route to go: drop springs or air runners. and as for rims... I have yet to find a set that has a nice mix of VIP/Sport. any suggestions?

Well if you got the money go Air Runners, its the best route to go because if you go springs, you would just want your car to go lower. I order coilovers, because i use mine IS on a daily basis. You should get the LED side mirrors.

hmm well, I don't have that much money on me. so I guess some drop springs are fine for me. coilovers wouldn't be a comfortable ride for me and that to me is a must for any VIP car.

and I bought a 09 IS so it came stock with the LED mirrors.

I sold my new 07 IS250 after 1.5 years of owning it.

I agree it was boring to drive. It was a NICE car, driving it was not fun at all. I guess I missed driving a manual.

Right now I am looking for a low mileage 2006 STI or spending a bit more and getting a 2005-06 M3 6MT.

Maybe go with a cheaper STI since I want to buy a house soon. And its a FUN car to drive.

is it true tho? i heard drop springs don't last as long as the stock springs...
and since I'm going with drop springs, are there any brands that IS owners use in particular?

there's quite a few people that use eibach springs on this forum. well im not sure on how long they last but beware of when you use drop springs that you would want the need to go lower.

You should try and trade it in for a IS350. You will probably get a better trade offer if you buy another car from them. Seems like you want more power and modifying a 250 will probably still not make you happy. A 350 has the power of an STI plus the luxury of a Lexus. Best of both worlds if you ask me.

once you've tasted the ammenities of a luxury car, it's hard to sacrifice this for hp/performance. i had two friends who bought wrxs and they traded it in a year after... one bought a bmw 330 coupe, the other went back to an is350. thinking you might do the same depending on your financial climate.

mm lol too all the people who are suggesting to buy the IS350... I really want to, but that'll put me into like... 40-45k in total debt. But I see what you guys are saying though, I'll always be wanting more out of my 250.

I'm not really feeling the vs-xx. (no offense to whoevers running them)
I was thinking of work cr-kai. I've seen this one IS whos running a set, that thing looks like a pitbull with the stance.
