I drove by Mercedes today and couldn't believe that there was a "Black Series" SL sitting in the showroom. I'm gonna stop by and get a closer look tomorrow. Anyone seen it as well. I hope it's still there tomorrow. A friend of mine that works for Mercedes in Anaheim says that they will not even order one for the dealership unless it's already sold.

I saw it the other day when I went to go test drive a car. My salesman there said he's working a deal on it right now. At $300K I'm sure his commission is going to be crazy.

I went in and took a look at the car. The salesman was very cool. I was surprised on how quickly he got the keys and showed me the car. At 300K, it's definitely not one of those cars you just let anyone and everyone go sit in. It was immaculate. CF hood/trunk, bodywork was crazy. I even snapped pics with my cell. That car is a beast. As far as he was told, the car is still for sale, no one placed a down on it yet. The original buyer did, then backed off, wow!! that's one car the dealership can't afford to "eat".
