Shouldn't have eaten the food. I'm 100% sure that somewhere in the restaurant stated that large parties would have "tip" included, if they didn't want to pay for the service they shouldn't have eaten the food.
If service is ever an issue wherever I eat I just leave. It gets the point across way more so than not tipping.
