Default "Hawaii Spec"

I've got an is350 and I'd like to buy the smart card key.
http://www.sewellpartsonline.com/par....asp?id=187179
Now, I haven't had good service from Sewell so, I'll probably buy from Servco. The description states that it won't work with Hawaii spec models. What's a "Hawaii spec" model?
My car's from the mainland, and although I don't have to worry about it not working, I'm worried Servco won't have it in stock.

Our *servco* cars are japan spec, thus you need to get the japan smart card to work with our cars, i'm not sure if servco carries the smart card, i dont know. Since you got your car from the mainland you will need to go thru Sewell. Its a ECU thing. One of our members got a smart card from japan and programed it for his is250 *servco car*.

err i hope i made sense

if you bought it from the mainland then order the smart card from sewell and have the dealer here program it. the smart card here is twice the cost of sewell.

its only the radio frequency of the keyless entry is the difference. since servco cars came directly from japan and not through the mainland, it uses different frequency.

No, just built in Japan and a few different specs and options for Hawaii/Guam. JDM is meant for the Japanese Domestic Market, so our Lexus cars are still USDM.
