Tanabe Exhaust question
Relative newbie here. I've searched and have been reading everything.
These questions have probably been asked a million times. But couldn't find anything specific to Hawaii.
Thinking about putting the Tanabe exhaust on my IS250. Do any of you regret putting it on? Is it too loud or annoying on hills?...going up Red Hill/Moanalua and especially up the H2?...I gotta drive those everyday. I mostly baby the car and don't do too much hard acceleration. Must be old age...I just want to be sure that I'll appreciate the sounds from the exhaust...not a young kid anymore!

Tanabe's have very nice tips, its not that much louder than stock and it sounds great, if you're worried about a 'drone'... well its a aftermarket exhaust so OF COURSE its gonna be a bit louder, besides thats what the stereo is for

I don't care how loud it is from the outside...more concerned with the sound from the inside with the windows up. I'm not too concerned about drone....it's how loud the drone is. I need to be able to have the wife's seal of approval when she's riding. I don't think turning up the stereo is gonna cut it...she says I'm deaf as it is! She doesn't realize...it's selective hearing!

Thanks for the responses!...I ended up getting the Tanabe from Revision Audio.
A big thank you to Samson and the guys at Revision for a great deal and a great job on the install! Samson was great! I called in the morning to get a quote, intending to pick up the exhaust on the way home from work, and do the install myself. Instead...went to go pick up the exhaust...and being as indecisive as I am...Samson was able to accomodate my last minute request to install...on the spot! How's that for service! Thanks for helping the old guy out!
I'm loving the sound of the Tanabes!...quieter than I expected in most places...but a little loud in some places where I didn't expect...but all in all a nice improvement over stock.

LOL...yeah, that was mine...I came back for it the next day since I left it there unexpectedly. I was wondering what I was gonna use the stock exhaust for, now that it's standing on the side of my garage. Never thought of using it as a party table!
