HID fogs
which brands have you guys gone with for HID fog lights?
im asking this because recently i have been having issues with my nikon bulbs and i have no clue whats happened to them. i took a look at them myself and the bulb itself seems fine but it wont disconnect from the socket or whatever. so I'm assuming the metal melted...
it used to be because it was loose so i tried to just tape it down with electrical tape then it went out again. a second look at it was when it wouldnt disconnect.
so idk, does anyone have a fix for this? does samson have a solution? or should i just go with HID and have that fix the problem? if so, which brand do i go with?
thanks CLH!

I'm planning to go with ddm tuning's slim hid kit. $39.99 for an hid kit is not bad. So when I order my H11 & 9006 hid's, they come out to $100 shipped for both. They are quite popular in the 600rr community

^Wow thats a pretty good price, where'd you find these?
The only set of HIDs I've ordered for that cheap was on eBay and when I put them in, they wernt even the same color.. I ordered 30k's but one was a 12k.
Racefactory has a pretty good deal, like $120 for HIDs with a 1 year warrentee.
I've been using McCullochs HIDs for a few years now, the quality is by far better than anything else I've used. It costed me $255 though...

Link is below. Found those when I used to have my 600rr and was on the forums over there.

No doubt tho that mcollochs are way better quality though. When it comes to the cheaper hid kits, i'm kinda skeptical in paying too much if they aren't mcullochs, philips, etc.

Ah i see. well in that case, i have one more question, how long do they tend to last? if its for a long time, i think ill pick some up and do the install myself. i gotta save some money...
