okay well i usually don't do this but im so upset at golden upholstery. i took my car in for just the back seats and they did such a horrible job. They didnt even use a heat gun, my leather were all wrinkle. Okay this what pissed me the f off. when i came to pick up my seats, he asked me if i can put it back myself? i was thinking to myself like what kind of service is this but i didnt mind and said okay. THEN later i found out my headrest wasn't even sew! it was super glue, wow! Please guys i dont recommend anyone going there. they charge me 220. what a rip for such bad service and effort

Wrinkle on the leather will come out in a few days. As far as your headrest, they probably used upholstery adhesive.

hmm I guess shotty work runs in that family then. I was hoping not and thought I was going to read a good review on them. Because the son also owns an upholstery shop in Pearl city they use to be in Waipahu. I too had bad workmanship and I didn't even rush them on the job they had my car like 3 weeks and it still came out bad. But I won't even go into that. Sorry to hear about your bad experience there oh and the sons shop is called PUC upholstery just to let you know so you don't go there either.

I guess that's why I decided to take it upon myself to try and reupholster my seats by myself with instructional help from the Internet.
It didn't come out looking like a professional did it, but I'm pretty happy with it seeing as I paid $0.00 for the installation.

So where is a good shop for upholstery work? i was thinking of taking some stuff to PUC since I seen some of their work and it looked good.

you can try Freds auto top or bob arkus but it's up to you if you still want to go to PUC we were just letting you know about those places from our personal experiences. Hey for all you know they got better. I personally will never go to them again.
