i can never get over how many people like boots n kimos. i'll admit the pancakes are good (the sauce is good but the pancake itself is average), but damn, the rest of the food sucks. and the wait....jeez. an hour+ wait for incredibly bad service and mediocre food is ridiculous. cinnamons has better food and better service.
same for eggs and things. their food used to be good 15 yrs ago when they were in the old location in the kalakuan condo. but now, gah. another 30 min - 1 hour wait and the food is barely average. i'd rather even go to wailana than eggs and things.
i'd recommend these....not necessarily IN waikiki but not too far away.
Bogart's cafe on monserrat ave.

On another note, can someone tell me where I can get a Spam shirt? It's for a souvenir for my niece back on the mainland. It can be anything spam-related. Musubi, Got Spam?, Logo or something.
Thanks!

Twong as far as spam shirts, if you go to the T-shirt boutiques in either ala moana or pearlridge, they'll have them there. Or you can check out the swap meet located at the Aloha Stadium tomorrow or sunday. if not, try the international marketplace in waikiki.

I would also suggest the T-shirt kiosks scattered around Waikiki (pretty much the same as above suggestion, but these guys are all over the place). One of them is bound to have something I'm sure.
Crazy Shirts or ABC Store may be another place to check (possibly call to save the walk?).
Food meets sound awesome. I'll try and squeeze some in if can.
