Coming Back Home
I coming back to honolulu finally for my master program at UH. I was wondering if BMW or lexus over charges their cars there since thers only one dealership in hawaii. I was planning to buy bmw 335is and sell my is 250 in Los angeles and ship it to honolulu. Also, is there a lot of cops there giving out speeding ticket. Im probably going to live in downtown. Thanks I definitely miss Zippy's chilli

no way they give out a lot of tickets. lol i can show you my bmw 335is. I bet only dozen of people in hawaii have bmw 335is so it makes me very unique there lol

as for the tickets, yea watch out when you first come back this aint the mainland~ takes awhile to get back to the 50mph grind

I dont think prices are that bad compared to the mainland for new cars. Plus, don't you need to pay 8 - 9% tax there....vs. 4.5% on Oahu....and then shipping it to Oahu is like $1300.

markup is crazy here..at BMW of Honolulu, a 135i costs about $45k after markup even though msrp is supposed to be $35k...have fun haggling!
as for tickets, yea, like judd said, it'll take some getting used to getting back to 50mph..

really so i have to drive 55 lol man when can i push my 335is to the limit. Is there at least a track there. If not theres no point of having a fast car in hawaii. Its better off every one just getting lexus is250 or bwm 328i

What theres Asian FOB in hawaii? When I was in Mickinely high school. my school is filled with 3or 2 generation Filipinos or Japanese. I never saw fobs at my high school until I moved to California.
