I have a 96 LS400, any cool mods or recommended things to do to my car?
I already have the clear signal light markers. I'm looking for pearl-black emblems.
You can change the tail lights to red/clears and diamond cut bumper lights, Drop it and put some dubs, & Limo tint all the way around

I don't like the red/clear taillights, they remind me of the old infinity Q45. It also looks like the old ES. What would look VERY COOL, is if you take the yellow part of the taillight and make it clear, then smoke it. That, I'm sure, will look better than a clear line all the way accross. Does anyone know if this can be done??
I already have tinted windows (not limo to avoid tickets!). I don't think putting new rims will be worth it on this car, maybe if it were brand new I'd do it. What I want to do is add HID's and wood kit inside along with wood steering wheel and shift ****. And also change the stereo and AC lights to bright white!

It can be done. Just get the red/clear tails and smoke the clear part using smoke spray paint/tape.

Yes, but I don't like the line all the way accross. I like the original design, but without the yellow part.

Just use red tape/spray paint on the clear part that's left over after you smoke the signals and there ya go.

I think that would require more work/time on your part rather than just buying red/clear tails and using the tape/spray paint...but that's entirely up to you.

I don't attend Mt. SAC, I go to SMC...trying to transfer out and major in business administration (for now). I was only replying to your post in this thread to let you know of another option.

Would I spray inside of the taillight assembly or on the outside?

Outside, unless you want to through the trouble of opening/resealing the tails.

BTW, even if you tried removing the amber part from your OEM tail lights, it might not be possible if there is no separate amber piece like the 1st gen LS.

Here are a couple threads that might help you out:

Kamtra tinted his headlights:

persian451 smoked his tails:

Edit: Argh, sorry for hijacking the thread Mt. SAC people.

caliness: PM me if you have more questions.

Hey I was leaving class today around 1230 and see a 90-92 SC 300/400 driving around the inner parking lot. It was orangeish w/ rims and a body kit. The rear side window said the person's last name as Nguyen...anyone on here?
