Exclamation Good Restaurants & Food Near Your Area

Every weekend I drive my new LS430 out for a little cruising trip, but I've always had hard time deciding where to take my girlfriend to eat & shop around. It frustrates me so much that I can't come out with a good place to eat
Can u guys please post some good place to go to eat around ur area or anywhere here in So. Cal that u think is good? Lkie the "So. Cal Local Tourist Post." Thanks.....

Take her to "The Block" in Orange County to shop and eat. There is also the Irvine spectrum with good food and shopping.

I'm planning to take my friend Sally to the Fashion Island shopping area in Newport Beach and then for some food. You should check out that place.

Our picks:

Taps (brewery and seafood) 101 Imperial Ave. Brea
Le Diplomate Cafe inside the Brea mall next to Nordstrom's.

Cafe Panni (Mediterranian) 2333 East Coast Highway Corona Del Mar
Pascal (French) 1000 Bristol Street Newport Beach they have a deli side and a restaurant.
Daily Grill (American) 957 Newport Drive, Newport Beach Fashion Island
Koto (Japanese) 4300 Von Karmen Ave. Newport Beach
Since you are in the area, a stop by South Coast Plaza

Mitsuoshi (Japanese) 12033 Beach Blvd, Stanton...then stop at Super Autobacs.

Sweeti Thai (Thai-westernized)) 10557 Valley View, Cypress
Curry House (Japanese) 10953 Meridian Dr. Cypress
Pho 75 (Vietnamese) 11444 South Street, Cerritos. Our usual hangout.

We drive by Guppy almost daily. If there is parking, we will stop in but often, the kids have it wall to wall.

If you get out to Santa Barbara and don't mind a back roads drive:

Cold Springs Tavern, (American) 5995 Stagecoach Drive. This is a stagecoach stop from the 1800's and is a converted log cabin type structure. Don't go there on Sunday afternoon in summer cause you'll never find a place to park with all the bikers that gather there for the hot dogs and burger sprees. Awesome food like buffalo, venison, rabbit, duck, ostrich and the more typical grillable prime graded meats and seafoods.

DOWN TOWN LAGUNA BEACH IS GREAT TO SPEND THE AFTERNOON AND WALK AROUND AND TO WATCH THE SUNSET , THERES ALSO MANY PLACES TO EAT AND HAVE A FEW COCKTAILS AND U CAN ALSO SEE SOME NICE CARS DRIVE THROUGH TOWN AT THE SAME TIME. YOU CAN ALSO DRIVE SOUTH ON PCH ABOUT 3 MILES TILL U HIT THE MONTAGE RESORT (IT WILL BE ON UR RIGHT HAND SIDE) COOL PLACE TO WALK AROUND AND THE LOBBY LOUNGE IS A COOL SPOT TO HAVE A COUPLE OF DRINKS (THE VIEW IS AWSOME) I WOULD KNOW CAUSE I WORK THERE

The Boat, best thai food restaraunt ever. It's off the 60 fwy, exit fullerton, in the Diamond Plaza, can't miss the big sign thing from the freeway. Diamond Plaza has a lot of food places, an arcade, LAN center, and one of those Sanrio-ish stores for the girls.
