5/13 Mother's Day Morning...
Light Blue/Steel color LS400 with chrome rims, lowered, and blacked out tail lights. Round 8AM heading southbound on the 405 near the 118.

Actually, copyrighting something prohibits you from reproducing it AT ALL. Disbtribution of a copyrighted work is called piracy. So when your local vinyl shop makes you that Lexus decal, that's both copyright violation AND piracy. Also, Lexus does not own the Alexis font, Microsoft does. The Lexus font is not Alexis - it's very, very close. There are subtle differences which allowed Lexus to create their own font, which they do own.

You're absolutely right, Tuan... this whole area is a lot like downloading music off of Napster back in the day - except in this case, the companies whose logos are being used don't raise a stink because their product is not being stolen, only their logo - and in the end, it's FREE adverstising for them, exactly where they want to be advertising.
Depends where you check... In L.A. (and most other cities), most vinyl shops do not have the appropriate licenses to legally reproduce logos.

1-SC @ 11:45 in the Carls Jr. on Valley View and Cerritos Ave in Cypress. White, multi spoke silver wheels emblems removed. Same SC as pictured from a prior sighting.
1-SC @ 1:15 Knott Ave heading east on Orangethorpe in Buena Park. Emerald green, lowered, tinted with silver faced wheels.
