i think it has to do with the majority of us not being millionaires and not driving 200-400 thousand dollar cars. something around that line.... but your idea sounds good i like it. but where is longo lexus?

i think meeting at sovang or prismo area would be really nice, i like the ocean side idea. must be fun. and it's going to be some trip for both me and my wife, from separate direction @_@

So did this turn into a Slovang meet? or is this a premeet on the way to the north/socal meet. If not could someone start another thread because I thought this thread was for the North/south meet. Im just getting confused.

My view of a N. & S. meet would be way However, both sides will have to factor in that this may be an overnight trip. Driving 200 miles then turning around won't be a short investment in seat time let alone the usual 2-3 hours we typically hang-out and drool over the cars.
The EOS meet is already established...so the overall investment lies with us So. Cal folk. Driving up to San Jose is a good 5 hours or so depending how far south you are. Get a room from $56-$130 and enjoy the day's festivities then head home the following day.
For a mid-ground meet, we need some member/s willing to do some leg work. We'd need a list of accommodations in varying price ranges as well as eats, not to mention a public location suitable for us to congregate. With as many CA members we have, this meet may be quite large. Due to time constraints of an early summer meet, I believe we will face a time issue to get things clarified.
Alternately, I suggested a meet and cruise for So Cal members. This is flexible so long as we have enough parties willing to make a 6-7 hour possible time commitment. The good thing here is it is a one day deal and you can opt to stay over. (This time issue will be more for the S.D. guys who add 2 hours on each side of this trip.)
We'd need to discuss what both So Cal and Nor Cal may be willing to do with a mid-ground meet.
