I spotted a white IS300 when I was on my way to the office this morning on 55FWY S near Tustin. It looked very nice and it's modified with a carbon fiber hood, exhaust, rims, suspension setup and all the other goodies.

For a while, I was unable to keep up with it because the freeway traffic was bad. However, by the time I caught up with him, I noticed that he had almost come to a complete stop in the fast lane and his rear end was smashed up. It looked as if the IS300 driver was trying to move his car away from traffic slowly and had flashers on.

I wanted to see if he's okay so I gestured when I drove by him. Unfortunately, I had a tight schedule at work so I had to move on with traffic. I tried to look into my rear view mirror to spot the car that rear-ended him but I didn't see any suspicious vehicle.

Just wondering if it's anyone here on CL. Very sorry to see what happened...

Yea that was me, I saw you in the SC.

I got rear ended by a red truck in the fast lane. I was completely stopped when he rear ended me

He told his insurance company that he has no idea where I came from which is total bs. I hadn't changed lanes on the 55 since I merged on from the 91.

People need to own up for their mistakes.

I believe you. I remember seeing you in the left lane the first time you drove by me. You were still in the same left lane when I saw your flashers on a few minutes later after the traffic cleared up a bit.

Not withstanding what's said, I did not witness the accident directly, nor did I see any suspicious vehicle when I drove past by you. I certainly hope you were able to get a hold of anyone who's actually witnessed the accident that day.

oh man sorry to hear about the accident.... i hope you get the insurnace case. i think it's pretty easy to tell if you were cutting in or not when he rear ended you, the crash pattern would be different.

Great minds think alike, lol. But that just struck me as odd...what are the chances?!

Good luck with getting your ride fixed man, you'd think it was an open and shut case but I've seen people lie their way out of the wierdest situations.
