OMG are you serious? I just saw him and his brother at Toyotafest a few weeks ago.

RIP Mike, you were a true Toyota tuning wizard.

I just heard this yesterday- totally wrecked my week. Mike and his brother Brian did all the service work on my GS 400, even bought a Silvertop 4-AGE engine from them for my brother's AE86. Mike was a Toyota/Lexus Wizard and master of all things car audio.

A terrrible loss. He will be deeply missed.

Some of my best memories of Mike is Hangin out at his shop reminiscing about old times while he was under a hood. Did my 90k in less than a day saying "I though I was gonna take longer since it was my first time....". The man was an absolute genieus when it came to toyotas. My heart goes out to his wife, brother and parent that I know he truly loves.

Mike was honestly a great guy. I spoke with him about an hour before the accident. A true and gifted friend of mine. Rest in peace bro. Thanks for everything. You will be missed. My heart and condolences goes out to the Urbano family and friends.

Mike was a great influence to me. I will miss him deeply. I too saw him at the TORC meet, and actually called him the same day as the accident, only an hour too late.

Attached is sticker Idea that we at Supraforums are designing. I realize that having an A70 supra logo on your car may not be desired, but you could use the sticker for other uses. I believe that the stickers will sell for $10 a pair with all money going to the Urbano family. If you knew Mike, you knew that he loved Endless brake pads and their Zeal coilovers. Also, his MkIII that he was well known for was blue. This was my reason why I chose the outline of the car to be blue. The final design hasn't been chosen, but this is one possibility. If you are interested in buying the stickers, contact me via pm or journey over to the MKIII section of Supraforums for additional information.

RIP Mike.

Here are some photos I found of Mike...doing one of the things he loves to do...drift! Here's pics from Drift Day back in Jan 2003 @ Irwindale. He thought it would be a good idea to break in Patrick's (aka Frydryce) brand new at the time 03' IS300. Mike is behind the wheel, and our friend Pat holding on in the passenger side...

RIP to Mike...

I've met him a couple of times and he's a stand up guy. Like everybody has been saying, he knows anything and EVERYTHING to do with Toyota's... especially Supra's.

Prayers go out to the Urbano Family!

This is so very very sad.

thats the thing with bike's in particular, you are to some extent at the mercy of the driving skills of other motorists, many of whom do not at all belong on the roads.

I was lucky enough to know Mike and his family, and my condolences goes out to them. More than just another wizard under the hood, the guy was genuinely a treat to be around.
